    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://www.roadwatch.com.au/forum/member_profile.asp?PF=1569">Rhino</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> Caught out in Cross City Tunnel 40kmh<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 10Mar2010 at 3:48pm<br /><br />Has anyone else been caught out in the Cross City Tunnel recently? &nbsp;Have just received a penalty notice for travelling in excess of 30kmh over the limit.&nbsp; Apparently there was a 40kmh limit at the time (10.52pm on Thursday 25 Feb) but I was not aware of any signage, nor of trucks, workmen or lane closures.&nbsp; As it stands I will lose my licence and that will be extremely difficult because I work shiftwork as a nurse.&nbsp; I was travelling at 74kmh in what I thought was an 80k zone. ]]>

The camera is facing northbound, though it's still being put together.<br /><br />Camera's are going up everywhere!!!]]>

Parkers on, LEFT INDICATOR ON! As I pass I look in to see old mate in the LEFT hand seat rubbing his hands together at the thought of snapping his fellow motorists.<br /><br />Come on is there nothing they won't do to take my cash?<br /><br />Location: Lancefield-Melbourne road just south of the Bolinda bridge, facing north.<br /><br />Incidentally same road, few km further south is a fav breeding ground for budding cam op's - just last week I saw a whole row of them on the side of the road... made me feel sick. Even had a cute little sign that informed training was in progress. Does that mean on this occasion I could relax should my speed accidentally creep above 103km?<br /><br />]]>
